In addition to being quick and easy, stir-frying is also healthy resulting in tender-crisp vegetables that retain more nutrients than if they were boiled. Since stir-frying requires only a small amount of oil, the fat content is low and the name indicates, the food is constantly stirred while you cook it.
Instructions
Prepare vegetables / meat or seafood of your choice. Cut it into bite size pieces.
Prepare your vegetables as needed. Peppers should be cut into thin slices, onions chopped, etc.
Heat up your wok / large skillet. Usually a wok is at temperature when it starts smoking.
Put a small amount of oil (1-2 tablespoons) in your wok.
Add your vegetables / meat / sea food, constantly stirring it until it is just cooked through (this requires about 5 minutes).
Add the Spice&Easy Chinese '5 Spice' Blend blend stirring continuously.
Add any fresh vegetables you want adding the ones that require the least cooking (like mushrooms) last.
Simmer for a further 3-4 minutes until ready.
Add any stir fry sauce you are using at the very end (optional)
Serve with Jasmine rice
